Sooooo.... I am not really the biggest car person but this car seemed to catch my attention. I'm not sure if it is because it looks more like a luxury car or the simple fact that 100+ year old brand is still producing cars. From looking at different sites about this car, Buick was a little reluctant to offering this car to the market. During the early 2000's Buick had to discontinue some of the their designs, so the questioning is understandable.
The advertising and marketing team is also doing a good job on publicizing this vehicle. The commercial that first caught my attention was when they compare the Buick to a Lexus. . . (I guess...) Shockingly enough the cars 'look' similar, not sure on the durability and needed maintenance and all that good stuff that goes into cars.
Overall, I like this car. I am more of a SUV girl but this car is nice in my opinion. It makes me wonder what Lexus will come out with since this car has such a strong resemblance.
I am very much a car person, so I will forever be biased on car companies. But I was very impressed with Buick when they came out with this model. I think for such a long time they had a negative reputation, and it seems that with the recession they have really tried to come around and re-invent their image. I think they still have a ways to go, but I was pretty surprised with what they were able to accomplish thus far.
